RIGHT HAND DRIVE MUSTANGS !!!

 Desert Classic Mustangs located in Scottsdale, Arizona can convert 1964-1968 Mustangs coupe, fastback or convertible to a right hand drive. All components in the engine bay and the complete interior is removed. The windshield, dash, all gauges, wiring, E brake, and pedal assembly are removed.  All original components can be install in the new right hand drive dash. The pedal assembly and brake booster bolts in. All the factory gauges, ashtray, steering column , and glove box will bolt in directly. Below you will see all the sheet metal parts that are installed.  Prices are quoted differently if you remove all your parts. All new wiring should be replaced because of age of the original wires.

 Right hand drive info Mustang only. Other cars can be done.

Option 2 1965-1968 Mustang     WITH YOUR CAR SUPPLIED  THAT IS SEMI COMPLETED

Semi complete or finished Mustang with motor,trans, windshield, interior,dash components,wiring and other parts attached.


Current price as of June 2014 $21,000 on up depending if there is power steering,   motor size, automatic transmission, air/heat , turbos,super charger and type of exhaust.

Complete pictures are taken to show the quality of work. All welding is done better than factory!


 All components in the engine bay and the complete interior are removed. The windshield, dash, all guages, wiring, E brake, and pedal assembly are removed. All the factory spot welds are removed to pull the upper and lower cowl, firewall and right inner apron. Replacement direct fit sheet metal parts are then installed. All original components can be installed in the new right hand drive dash. The brake pedal assembly and brake booster bolts in. All the factory gauges, ashtray, steering column , and glove box will bolt in directly. Below you will see all the sheet metal parts that are installed. Prices are quoted differently if you remove all your parts. All new wiring should be replaced because of age of the original wires.

A right hand drive steering rack is installed for factory disc brakes. Power steering rack is $450 additional if you car  has power steering. Custom lines are adapted to fit. The rack will work with a factory steering column. An updated ac / heat unit is advised for better comfort. $2400-$2850 extra

Since the upper cowl is altered it is painted to closely match the hood and fenders.

The engine compartment is painted and original parts are installed. Not responsible for original glass and stainless trim.

 Tire alignment is done and the car is test driven.

Allow 45-75 days for completion.

Option 3 Our bodies supplied when available, limited supply

1965-1968 Coupe to fastback conversions. Dynacorn body available, price is different.

 It retains the original  Ford vin and title is included. At times we have original factory fastbacks and expect the price to be 50% -80 % higher. All new Dynacorn bodies available from $17,500 plus shipping fees to our location. These can be converted to RHD, Wait times can be 30-120 days depending on current work load and parts available. The bodies are bolted down to a frame table and built with precision measurements. Original interior panels are test fitted to insure proper mounting brackets.

BODY
No body work done. All new exterior sheet. Bodywork may need to be done to line up the doors and fenders depending on how particular one is. Where quarter panels meet the roof and also the windshield frame those areas need body filler like factory, this is an option we can do.
Body structure kit: Other options available for high horsepower high torque motors , sub frame connectors, 1 piece seat platform and a right side torque box. The factory cars were built to handle 400 horsepower and we can add to the structure to help prevent body flex which will cause paint cracking over time. Other body kits available, Shelby or Eleanor as seen in the movie.
No other parts are included unless ordered.

All rear interior panel brackets, for side panels, fold down seats and upper panel brackets are installed.  
Included is a roller assembly bolted to the bottom of the body for easy transport.
The body is painted inside, out and the bottom side with an Epoxy paint sealer to prevent rust from forming.
Coupe to fastback RHD conversions is $25,500
Dynacorn Body, RHD all new from front to back with papers $29,500
